Who We Are

Our company president, Thomas M. Vairo, brings thirty years of investigative expertise to the table. He served as a Detective with the New York City Police Department for 22 years, focusing on investigations within the NYPD Organized Crime Control Bureau. After tenure in civil service, he transitioned to the corporate sector, specializing in private investigations, background checks, and insurance fraud analysis, ultimately founding Finest Investigative Service. Each of our services is supported by thousands of hours of hands-on experience, setting us apart from the many private investigation firms that often outsource their work or employ individuals with minimal experience. We pride ourselves on being a small business that delivers professional, timely, and cost-effective investigative services. Mr. Vairo is an alumni of Norwich University's MA Public Administration program and holds an BS degree in Criminal Justice from New York Institute of Technology.
